Pink city’s world-renowned Amer Fort has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013. The Amer Fort is famous to host its spectacular shows, especially the nighttime demonstrations and showbiz. Since the ancient royal era, Rajasthan is famous for its folk-dance forms, music, songs, and plays that are still alive and people croon these folk music songs in their hearts. The light and sound show of Pink City’s Amber fort is captivating and harmonious not only for the local crowd but also for visitors traveling from abroad. With an outstanding view and location where the magnificent fort palace of Amber with a lake view, the rising Jaigarh on the left, and gigantic hills in the back with starry night adds magic to this hour-long night show. People witness the mesmerizing folk music and the striking play of lights demonstrating the royal folk tales, stories of the bravery and pride of the Rajput Kings, history, rich tradition of Rajasthan, and cherish the proud heritage. The Amer Fort light and sound show start every night at Amber fort’s Kesar Kyari Garden situated on Maota Lake. During winters from October to February, the show starts at 6:30 pm in English and 7:30 pm in Hindi, from March to April it is 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and from May to September it is 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm respectively. The show lasts 52 minutes totally.
